Well after a few months of solid project management work, I’m proud to announce IDG’s latest IT news and industry portal – TechWorld.
We soft launched it a few weeks ago, but are now ramping up our marketing efforts.
It was a great experience in flexing my publishing mind to manage the design, development, marketing, and editorial for TechWorld. The result is a glowing testament to the talented and hardworking people at IDG Australia.
TechWorld Australia follows a number of successful TechWorlds in Europe.
I’ve been appointed inaugural editor and, as such, am moving on from six fabulous years at Computerworld. Any and all feedback welcome.
Also, if anyone is interested in contributing to TechWorld (paid or publicity-seeking) be in touch as I’d love to hear from you. Unlike Computerworld or CIO, TechWorld’s content will be more “hands-on” and aimed squarely at people who manage IT at the coalface – from developers to small business owners. However, it is a business IT Web site, not consumer IT.
Keep an eye out for more free services that will soon be available to all TechWorld members.
