Lost in transplagiarism

It seems that some IT news outfits aren’t being as transparent as they could be when it comes to citing sources for their articles.

Here’s a good example. This article has snippet at the end:

“In May last year an Australian technology magazine reported the NAB had started deploying its first production application using an SOA. The software was a financial planning tool for advisers and employees.”

“Australian technology magazine”? We leave the readers wondering?

This intrepid reporter can reveal (with at least some certainty) that the magazine in question was indeed our own Computerworld.
