I found this great little open source dictation app Wryte while checking to see if Simon had progressed much recently.
The project appears to be less than 12 months old and uses the following cross-platform technologies:

- clojurescript
- reagent
- https://languagetool.org
- Speech-To-Text-Api in electron
making it available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
